Portfolio example 1

Brief:

The brief here was to provide some awareness level training to a wide audience, on a number of flooding issues, in quick and simple bite-sized nuggets. The information had to be organised in a logical, linear order and easy to access and digest.

Approach:

From the outset of this project, we were involved as consultants with the engineering experts Halcrow and CIRIA with regards to how to organise and write the material that was needed. Once we had established the format for the content from the subject experts, we then proceeded to design a simple, clean way of accessing the information. We felt that the bite-sized simplicity of the training material would best be presented using clear, neutral colours and designs. This was combined with a containing shell structure that was easy to update / edit and was accessible to a wide audience.

Solution:

Our solution was an html based learning program that contained a number of different modules arranged in a simple, clean interface. All images and detailed interactivity were dealt with in a pop-up style format that would not inhibit the user.
